SAINT-LOUIS APPEAL

During the International meeting of Freinet teachers which took place in St Louis, Senegal in August, 2006, during a workshop we had discussions with African teachers and teachers from all over the world about the use of children in the wars in Africa and in other parts of the world. Then a text was proposed to the General Assembly of the FIMEM and it was voted unanimously. The FIMEM is sending you this text and is asking you to spread it widely around you and to send it to your government.

Le C.A. de la F.I.M.E.M, lors de sa réunion annuelle à Venise le 31 mars 2013, reconfirme la motion adoptée lors de l'AG de juillet 2006 à Saint-Louis-du-Sénégal contre l’emploi d’enfants soldats dans beaucoup de pays africains, au Moyen Orient et en Amérique Latine.

Vorschlag für eine „Weltstadt“

Rosella Quaranta, Lehrerin des M.C.E. in Brindisi, entwarf für das RIDEF 2014 in Italien das Symbol , zu dem sie der Titel „ Die Kinder und ihre Stadt“ inspiriert hat.

In einem Koordinierungstreffen hat die Organisationsgruppe entschieden, allen Gruppen der FIMEM vorzuschlagen, dieses Symbol in ihren Schulen und Klassenzimmer zu verwenden und dieses Haus durch Zeichnungen typischer Häuser ihres eigenen Landes zu ersetzen und zwar im Ausdruck ihrer eigenen Kultur.
