COMMUNIQUE ABOUT SITUATION IN MALI

International Federation of the Movements of Modern School (FIMEM) works on the improvment of the quality of the education, on the respects of Human and children rights in dialogue with CAMEM (African Coordination of The Movements of Modern School).

FIMEM wishes to reaffirm its solidarity and its support to the people and to the organizations of the malian civil society, in their democratic commitment and for the territorial integrity of the country.

FIMEM wishes that Mali, can find as quickly as possible, the peace and a democratic strengthened life guarantor for the security of all.

FIMEM also reminds its attachment, in any circumstances, to the respect for the human and civic rights, the personal freedoms and to the absolute freedom of consciousness.

FIMEM calls back its commitment for the dialogue beetween the plurality of the cultures in the same country.

FIMEM reminds that the war is never the solution and that the expenses dedicated to the war would have their just place to create a society where the rights of the children would be respected.

FIMEM works on the improvement of the quality of the education, on the respects of human rights and children in dialogue with CAMEM.
 

FIMEM reaffirms its will to maintain its common commitment for the preservation of the social link and for the education in Mali and in the whole countries of CAMEM, strong of their common experience acquired during the last thirty years.
